People’s health and well-being involve more than just physical health. Similarly, the impact of COVID has been felt across not only physical, but also emotional, social, occupational, spiritual, and intellectual dimensions of people's lives.

The UIW Libraries' In Sickness and in Health in South Texas narratives collection acknowledges this multifaceted nature of health and well being. The collection offers a platform for people to relate stories of their experiences living with COVID and how it has affected their lives – both negatively and positively – across these different dimensions.

Making sure the stories and lessons of our experiences are not forgotten, the UIW Libraries welcomes submissions of COVID narratives from UIW students, employees, alumni/alumnae, and members of the public from Bexar County and South Texas. Your experiences are important and we would like to make sure they have a platform.

For more information about this collection, please go to In Sickness and in Health in South Texas . To submit your narrative to the collection, click on the SUBMIT RESEARCH link in the left-hand side navigation area of this page. If this is your first time submitting content to the Athenaeum, you will need to create an account by clicking on the "Sign up" link on the login screen.
